Company Profile

LISS Systems was set up in 1996 by a group of four individuals with the initiative and vision to realise that the challenges of a rapidly changing Financial Services Industry demanded new solutions, rather than cosmetic surgery on the existing systems.

The staff at LISS Systems have wide ranging business knowledge of the Life Insurance industry. For this reason, our approach has always been business facing, and concentrated on the real commercial needs of our clients. LISS has chosen to focus on core solutions for Life Insurance Administration as a reflection of the skills which exist within the company.

As well as building the business by working with our customers to develop their existing systems, in line with current industry trends and practices, LISS began work on a brand new, packaged system designed to meet the changing needs of the Life assurance and Financial Services industries.

The new LISSIA system was completed in 2002 and achieved its first implementation for Aviva in India in that year. LISS has since been developing a Group version of the system in collaboration with Generali International, which is now live in their Guernsey offices.

Meanwhile, by reputation and recommendation, the customer base for the existing system also doubled. All this was achieved profitably - a measure of the management as well as the business and technical skills in the company.
