We understand that need - and LISSIA has been designed as a hub around which other function can be readily integrated. To be able to offer 'best of breed' function we are developing links between LISSIA and other systems which demonstrate expertise in these areas.
One example of how this has been managed is documentation for the LISSIA system. Users are not restricted to system specific documentation, but instead can use Crystal Reports, a recognised industry standard reporting tool. Not only can Crystal directly address the database for reporting purposes, but in addition, link function has been built into LISSIA allowing the users to trigger and review documentation and reports from within LISSIA itself. If the users already have expertise in an alternative reporting tool, then this could also be integrated with the LISSIA system in a similar way.
