We developed LISSIA using CA's AllFusion Gen CASE Tool (formerly known as Cool:Gen). The system is built as a business model; it can then be structured in different ways and implemented on a variety of different Software and Hardware architectures, to meet individual customer requirements; examples can be seen below.

The system can be structured from 100% client through client/server to multi-tier configurations. This enables a range of working environments to be set up:
- Standalone
- Small Network
- Large Network
- Multi-Tier
This structural flexibility, along with the ability to use industry standard relational databases, opens LISSIA to the opportunity of working with other compatible systems such as work-flow, e-commerce and CRM.
